I have "MacOS X: The Missing Manual." In it, he mentions that the people who will have the hardest transition to OS X are the Mac OS 9 "power users," since they (we) have become so accustomed to where each and every feature of 9 (and previous) was located. In X, some features are moved, others missing, to be hopefully replaced in the future. I had figured most of OS X out by the time I got "The Missing Manual,"mostly from poking around and the occasional question to a friend who had been using it longer than me. There is a lot to learn, just hang in tight. Just the other day, I found out that one -can- select random items in a Finder list view. Command key, not Shift key and click!
