Yes, this is the way it is done in the windows world, isn't it, where 
the command key gives you random selection, but the shift key gives 
you everything between the first item selected and the next item 
selected.

Anyway, it is a small change, but disconcerting the first time you 
try it the old way and it doesn't work the way you are used to.
