Greetings: I recently installed a new hard drive, and moved my old OS 9.2.2
and all third party apps into the new drive after I initialized it. Almost
everything works well, except for a couple of items. Whenever I start up,
after everything loads and the desktop appears, the hard drive window
automatically opens showing all the file installed on the hard drive. Also,
whenever I download an item, I have a designated folder called "download
files-internet". It's always worked fine. Since the reinstall, anytime I
download a file, I try to open the file and I get the message "The file
"download files-internet" cannot be located. To resolve this problem,
please go to the preferences file" and then it has a button that says "OK".
When I click it, it automatically goes into the preferences folder, and the
files opens and downloads into the preferences folder. Obviously, something
must have gotten corrupted when I moved the OS from hard drive # 2 back onto
the new hard drive # 1. Anyone else encounter something like this? Any
suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried deleting the existing download
files-internet folder and making a new one, and I've tried listing a new
folder as the download file, it still gives me that same message. It isn't
reading the folders on the hard drive it appears. Thanks

Ron Ward
