how did you move everything? did you drag the old drive onto the new or
drag each top level folder from old to new?  the window opening up
should be easy, close it before you restart and it should stay closed
until opened.  not being able to find your download folder is probably
because the drive has a different name or is on the bus in a different
place, go into internet config, and rather than clicking ok manually
reset that preference to where you want it.  if it continues to be
stubborn delete the internet preferences and re-enter all of them after
a reboot.  you may also want to delete the finder prefs and reboot, they
are automatically recreated and do sometimes get corrupted.  you won't
be able to empty the finder prefs from the trash until you reboot
because the system will still be using them even though they've moved,
when you reboot it will make the new prefs file and then you can dump
the trash, the same may also apply to the internet prefs but i haven't
had to trash that one.
