Phil: I had 2 hard drives, and I wanted to replace one of the HD's with a larger one. I had them set up so that OS 9.2.2 was on the smaller HD and I had OS X installed on the second HD. I got a good deal on a larger (80GB) HD so I decided to get it and install it. I made a duplicate of all of the files in the hard drive folder, including the system and applications folders. I then drug them into the 2nd hd. I installed the new hard drive, initialized it, reinstalled a new 9.2.2 and then drug all of my apps and third party items from the 2nd HD onto the new HD. I did run into a couple of files that seemed to be corrupted, so I deleted them and reinstalled and they work fine. The message that the download files folder can't be located, even though the files I downloaded went into the folder, and then directing me to the preferences folder to open the files in really threw me for a loop. I've never heard of anything like prior to this. So far, almost all of the remaining files open and run without a problem. There were just a few that seemed to get weird on me. Thanks for your help.
