And you can run Jaguar *supported* on a 1997 beige G3 or unsupported on a 1995 Power Mac 7500 with a G3 upgrade card. How's that any different from your Dell R450 -- except that these are much more than 4 years old. For the record, Apple didn't state no OS 9 on Macs after 1-1-03 or that all Macs sold after 1-1-03 won't boot OS 9.
