This sort of thing constantly annoys people who, at the time, shelled out a large amount of money for hardware that was expensive at the time. Also I have been in the same boat of switching from PC to Mac and having to replace a lot of my hardware as it was not supported on the Mac. Companies, like HP, Epson and the like, assume that the cheap price of modern inkjet & low-cost laser printers and scanners means anyone can afford to go out and replace their whole document processing to keep up with demand. Personally I think it is a bad attitude for a company to have but it's what is called, by the spin doctors in the industry, progress. I have decided I am going to make a concerted effort to recycle old Mac hardware and resell it to people who actually want it because I feel it is a waste to keep throwing all this stuff away in the name of 'progress'. Don't even get me started on HP's PC strategy.... -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> Mac LC Central -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
