it's called file corruption.  it happens.  just reinstall the font.  i would have 
answered faster
but you cross posted, not a polite thing to do unless you're really having problems 
getting help and
didn't do it the first time, fyi.  apparently it's not that uncommon for font files 
for some reason,
though i've never had problems with them i have heard of many people getting their 
font file(s) corrupted.
