I doubt I;ll get around to doing mine for a while yet (like about a year at this rate!) but when I do I'll make sure I saved all your info :). > still looking for an early christmas =) > > oh another tidbit you need at least the gigabit mb in order to run > dual > processors ...seems apple was up to their ole' crippling tactics on the > earlier agp boards. < some type of added chip to prevent the addition > of the > double processors > Yah, that was the southbridge thingy I mentioned I think. AFAIK most modern G4 AGP upgrades will not work with anything prior to the Gigabit G4s unless they have the newest (and last) AGP Sawtooth logic board before the Gig E was inroduced. Frankly I am waiting also to see if PowerLogix can produce the patch to enable the >550MHz G4s in the B&W/Yikes first and how much that would cost. I could cope with just a Radeon 7000 and an 800MHz G4 and PCI until the new generation macs with IBM (successful men we work and work all day, IBM successful men that's why we are so gay *hey!* - sorry :) ) Power4/PowerPC 970 or whatever in it. -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> Mac LC Central My homepage: <http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson/> -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
