RE:now this is getting interesting,,the firewire port on my 2xagp sawtooth is dead,so I was thinking a newer upgrade machine,however,If I purchase A newer MOBO,and poweer supply,I could use the rest of my existing parts to install in an aftermarket box from Comp-usa or freaking fast computers,and have have plenty of room for modifacations and upgrades,I was thinking of a laptop, but this may be more affordable,a piece or two at a time,thankyou for thinking out loud, have you any other Ideas?,, best wishes
