I just got a DVD burner for my Beige Tower. It's a rev 1 motherboard which is RageII, I guess. I also have an ATI Xclaim 3D plus (8megs, television out and flat panel out.)
In addition, I have the latest of the AV personality cards, which has a hardware DVD decoder on it (which I believe will only work with the rev 3 motherboard.) None of the DVD Player versions work. There is a hacked version of DVD Player 2.2 that doesn't look at machine codes, but it says it doesn't support my video board. The new drivers will work on my video board, ok.
