OK that's good 'cause I use Illustrator 10 and PS 7.0 very frequently.

FYI PowerLogix tech support says 550 but yeh it's a proprietary chip
controller, that's 2 things they employed to barrier G4 upgrades -
a$$holes ;). I suppose it made lots of sense at the time (and still
does).

Not by a country mile. However if you ever wanted it services for cash
by an Apple dealer they would spit in your face if you mod'd it.

Which is nice if you can afford to ;).

Yes but there is still a warranty on the G4 upgrade.

Hmm... I tried on a rev. 1 B&W to get the speed up to 450MHz. It
diddn't work. I now have a Rev. 2. Is there any chance the CPU is
copper not Aluminum based as that was what stopped the G3s going over
400MHz IIRC. They had to re-jig the production line to do the faster
chips in copper.

Hmm. UT has an OS X patch that runs OK on my G3/400 under 10.2. I'm
also glad to see they have fixed some of the issues with Quake III:
Arena and 10.2.

I thought that might happen. I can only hope they produce a Mac driver
for the Extidgy box. It's a bit more standard being a USB Audio device.
Anyone know if it is standard protocol USB Audio or if it's a botch - I
suspect the latter from Creative.
