I am using a desktop. It has been having problems occasionally. It seemed that If I ran ClarisWorks 4, then attempted to shutdowb the system, it just blinked and keepted on running. I installed AppleWorks, and I still have the same problem
I tried writing scripts with the Quadra, and found out that whatever you do, you have to run the Script Editor, open the script, and run it. The script never ran by themselves. Don't know why. Maybe I need some kind of script to run at shutdown which runs a diagnostic or somthing. Now is Scripting only worked. Thats another subject that isn't documented anywhere in America. The system seems to run OK. It dies take a while to start, maybe because its testing 768 mb of RAM. I am working on many projects at present, and don't want to waste time playing with hundreds of versions of RAM varieties to proves what works and what doesn't.
