Thanks for reply Bob.  Well that makes sense for the Beige DT.   But I 
thought the B&W 450 was the newer generation mac and it doesn't work as a 256 
either.  Yet it works as a 256 module in the 400 iMac.  Am I correct?  Also, 
how does one know when they buy it if it has both sides because you can't see 
inside the packages?  And will one sided memory not be recognized to its full 
capacity in my office 500 G4 and all the newer G4's/ or will it?
