Has any one out there ever had any problems using a USB PCI card on a beige G3? I've tried 3 different cards: a "no name" cheapo card, a SIIG and a Belkin card (both the SIIG and Belkin cards claim to be Mac compatible). In all cases, the USB card shows up in system profiler, but not any of the devices attached to it. None of the USB devices (zip drive, keyboard, mouse) attached to it work. The problem is not with the PCI bus, as I have managed to get a video card (Rage 128) to work in all three slots. The strange thing is that all three cards work in my 7500/G3. So, I am wondering if there is any particular quirk of the beige G3 that would prevent usage of a PCI USB card. I'm running OS 9.2.2 in the beige and OS 9.1 in my 7500/G3. I've installed the cards as often suggested (insert the card and reset CUDA). Ideas anyone?
