The USB ports worked fine in OS8.6 and 9.0 with the PCI card support extensions downloaded from Apple. It also works fine with OS9.1 which has built-in PCI card support. It also works fine in OSX.2 and OSX.2.1. But it does NOT work with OS9.2 or 9.2.2 with or without the added card support extensions. Go figure. I don't have any Firewire devices to test those ports.
