I just updated to Toast 5.2 and one thing I noticed while burning a mounted image on Jaguar is that I wasn't getting the odd folders that ruined the appearance in the past. I don't know if anyone knows what I mean. I would have certain folders all nicely lined up and then some folder I never put in there shows up. I guess it's a hidden file. So I would never burn anything in OS X. I guess OS X is slowly beginning to take shape.
I thought the Lite-on burned a CD R very quickly in about 1.5 minutes in OS X. CD-R's do not usually have the speeds written on them, so I forget when I unwrap it. I recently purchased 50 at 52x CD R, so it should even burn quicker with those. It is a noisy drive; one of the criticism I read but alot of these fast drives seem somewhat noisy on a PC as well. Overall it is a very nice burner and I think I will replace it with my trusty Yamaha 6x4x16 CD burner. I wasn't sure at first. But it is fast. One thing I later thought when some have shaved off the front part of the tray. Won't it now be more open to dust as there will be a gap? I'm more inclined to shave down the bottom sled even though it is more trouble. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
