I have a SOHO combo card in my Beige minitower. It was one of the first things
I put in, when it was Rev A and 233 mhz, os 9.1. Worked fine. Now it's 466
mhz and 9.2 and 10.3.3. Still works fine.

The only issue I have with it is probably something to expect with an older
computer. It doesn't seem to export DV video over the firewire port perfectly.
I have to shut usb down completely, and everything else there is on the computer
and I still get some tearing of frames occasionally. This is no longer an issue
for me since I export video to DVD (or VideoCD) and there are no errors. But it
is worth noting. I expect it has to do either with the bandwidth of the combo
card or the bus speed of the machinw.

By the way, importing digital video is always perfect (in 9.2, not in 10 where I
get drop frames, or did in 10.2.2...haven't tried it in '3.)

Hope this helps.
Rich
