Oh yes, you asked about upgrading the processor.  Depends on what you want to
do.  If you want to do video, you'll really want a faster machine.  iMovie isn't
supposed to work at less than 300 mhz.  Nor iDVD in X (if you have a
superdrive.)

Installing a new zif processor is easy if you are a little handy (it's the tiny
jumpers that take a bit of care)  but, for me at least, it was a breeze and the
computer ran perfectly, no problems.  I bought the OWC 466 G4 for under $200. 
G4 is also neat for video since the programs seem to use the Altivec feature and
you get a lot of extra zip.
