FWIW, you should really only need red and white connectors on one end and
the microphone connector on the other. Yellow is generally a video
connector.

Anybody want to pipe up about the sound quality of this method? I recently
discovered that my A/V personality card is not supported under X and I'm
considering alternative solutions right now. Seems like rebooting into OS 9
is the best solution thus far.
