Others have already pointed you to partitioning the master drive, either 
the 20GB or 8GB, so that the first partition is <8GB,
if the 8 gig is set to master he also has to partition it, because the 
drive is actually bigger than 8 gig, 8192 kbytes, so it still has to be 
partitioned.
After partitioning he can install Jaguar onto the first partition, OS 9 
doesn't care where it is installed, but just let him install it too on 
the first partition to be sure.

May I recommend he makes the new 20 gig HD the master and partition this 
one, because this one's is faster (7200 rpm) than the stock 8 gig HD.
