Well, MicroMat has Drive 10, and TechTool Pro will be OSX native and 
oriented in version 4.

I've always liked TTP over Nortons.

Alsoft's DiskWarrior is the other 'must have' utility. Between these two 
there aren't many problems you can't fix.

That said, I must admit that my own personal disk repair recovery 
strategy is really simple: Disk First Aid and good backups.

The trick is the good backups part. An investment in something like 
Retrospect Express will work wonders, though OSX has usable tools built 
in for free.
