Hmmm. I have used Nortons, TTP and DW on my OSX disks in my Mac B&W G3 
and 2 S900 and never had any problems whatsoever.  Nortons 7 fixed 
problems in my OS X partitions.  I think you're just a little upset 
with Nortons.
