G'day again. A question this time.
I've set up 3 accounts for my neighbors family with Netscape (I like 'em for extra accounts cause you don't get ANY trash mail, & 5 meg). However, I can only access them via a Browser, or the Netscape mail feature. As Safari is much easier and faster, I'd like to use Apples 'Mail' to access the IMAP accounts on their iMac (and for myself too). Mail can't get to any account. Does Netscape freeze any direct access unless it's via it's own mail manager? The port shows as 143 on all accounts, both G3 and iMac, Netscape & Mail. The server shows as imap.mail.netcenter.com, which works in Netscape. Any way I can turn on 'Mail' please? OR, can anyone suggest an alternative free mail server? (I understand Hotmail only allow 2 Meg, and besiege you with junk mail) Regards, & thanks Santa -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
