I have just this machine but it came with a 6 gig drive, I too had 
224MB memory

I upped my drive to a 40 gig - job takes 10 minutes if you count 
startup time!

Jag ran fine on 224. I now have 320, thanks to a kind lister, and 
that's even better

I really like OS X and wouldn't go back to 9 now. I certainly think 
your machine is fine for it - but you will need more disk space.
