G'day Rich

Once I've established Jag as the boot partition, the Option key always
boots into 9.2.2 (desktop beige 233, now 533 G4). This is much, much
easier than booting into Jag, setting 9.2.2, then re-booting.

I've never tried X, but will get around to it one day. To test it, I'd
have to set 9.2.2 as boot-up, and I'm reluctant to do that.

I've also never had time to test the open Firmware settings.

Regards

Santa
