Good to hear that the option trick works for you guys, BTW does this work with several partitions, with OS 9.2.2 on the first partition? Too bad the option key doesn't bring up that Open Firmware screen on my B&W G3 where you can select which System Folder you want to use, that trick is built-in as of the AGP G4s and slot-loading iMacs. Also holding the option key doesn't boot into 9.2.2 on the first partition on my B&W G3, and holding x doesn't boot OS X on my fourth partition.
