Can you explain this statement?

What do you mean by hot swapable ?

Are you saying while your System is powered  On, you can unplug and 
replug in your SCSI Drive without "blowing" the
the output driver interface of your PCI -SCSI Card?

Are you also saying that you can bootup your system without the SCSI 
Drive connected, and then plug it IN and it will mount on the desktop?
