The processor specific fan on DA G4s - as far as I know - were only on dual 533s and single 667s and 733s. The the motherboard is the same between them all but if the dual 533 processor is like the single 667 and 733 models then I can tell you that the processor fan is spose to plug into the processor card itself and not the motherboard.
I don't know what the effect of using the normal 12v connector would be, I assume it would work OK, but haven't done it. I can also tell you from experience that 733s seem to run fine without the processor specific fan but I don't know about duals, although dual 533s are the lower heat 7410 chip so one would think it might be similar cooling needs ...
