Hi Peter & all;
It's me again! The 2 ATA cables in my MT both have 3 connectors, but
different part numbers. The numbers are as follows:
Foxconn #=080-0003-192 with 3 connectors
Foxconn #=080-0004-192 with 3 connectors
The 0003# cable is hooked to the MOBO @ J9, to the CD at the middle
connector with the end connector free.
The 0004# cable is laced as per instructions, but not hooked to anything,
leaving J10 on the MOBO empty and 2 ends tucked in the drive bay area. The
MOBO connector end is tucked behind the PSU. What, if anything, is the
difference between the 2 cables? According to sources <grin>, J9 must be
used if only 1 ATA bus is used. So I assume that J9 must power the boot
drive with J10 powering the CD if both busses are used. Is this correct?
  This ATTO/Apple SCSI card I have in this MT, is it Ultra Wide SCSI? It has
a 68 pin external connector and looks like a 50 pin internal connector. TIA
for all the help.
