Thanks to Ray and Bruce for responding on this. I'll have to check the ROM issue and also the driver installation issue. Unfortunately I'm on the way out the door to go to work at the moment. One thing stuck in my mind though. I was puzzled when I downloaded the USB support from Apple. There was a "tome" in the folder that I didn't know what to do with, so I just left it there. Did this tome have to be placed somewhere? I was a little rushed when I was doing the installation, so I might go over all that again. I might have missed some instruction. I'm totally new to OS 10, still feeling my way around it. Bye for now. John.
