You don't have to install the USB support from Apple
if you already have 9.1 +. Just make sure you have the
USB extensions when you look into your extensions
folder. Actually, if you install the USB driver from
Apple's web site, your going to install a version that
is less than what get's installed when you install 9.1
which I always thought is kind of strange.

 And OS X doesn't need any type of installation. Also,
take out the card and put it into another PCI slot. I
just had to do that recently because my USB port
wasn't working right. But reseating it, cured it. It
should just work right out of the box.
