I purchased a USB 2 /Firewire through ebay but the card can be purchased at: http://shopnow123.safeshopper.com/28/282.htm?842
Is there a way to see if the firewire card works without a firewire device? I don't see any thing that says Firewire in the profiler. USB shows up. I installed Final Cut pro 3 in OS X.2 and it opens without any problems but in OS 9.2, I get the message "IsochronousDatahandlerLib" which is supposed to relate to not having Firewire according to: http://www.os9forever.com/Pro.html. I get the feeling it works in OS X.2 but don't know where to look. Although, this card does not seem to work well in OS 9.2 anyway, as I get intermitent hanging for about 10 seconds of my USB mouse, which also prevents the ADB mouse from working too. So this card may have to go in a PC. I had an ADS USB card that worked pretty good. I'm not ready to purchase any firewire stuff yet but I was hoping it would work for the future, as I won a decent bid on this card. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
