Second, I agree Dreamweaver is not easy, I have it around, but still mainly
use Claris Homepage 3 because of it's simplicity and friendlyness.

Stuff them, or simply provide a short explanation that visitors have to
hold the mouse button down - or whatever get's their favorite browser to
give them the choice of saving what's behind the link to their hd.

If it seems to work on your machine (i.e. you've tested the site from your
hd, in several different browsers) it should work fine once you've uploaded
it 'as is'. You should check it thoroughly again once uploaded.

Most likely (some ISPs does things differently) you'll have to ftp them to
your webserver. I think Dreamweaver can do this also. I personally prefer
Fetch, a standalone ftp app.
Your ISP should provide you an ftp address with a username and password.
