Unless you did the QE hack, Quartz Extreme does not support PCI cards, 
only AGP. At best it gets you a few percent speed imporvement, at the 
copst of being significantly crashier (in my case, at least) Most of the 
speedup you're seeing is due to the 2d and 3d accelleration that the 
Radeon gives. They ARE nice cards, I love mine.
