Hi all,
I am upgrading our "scanner" at work, and will be moving it from a Biege desktop G3
(Gossamer?) to a Blue and White Tower G3, will also be amking the move from OS9 to
OSX, the main reason for this switch is because we use Linux file servers, and when
people scan something on the Mac it can't see the fileserver, as it uses winbloze
filesharing, I know there is an apple client and we tried that and its too buggy, so
we migrated all our other macs to OSX except this one because there were no drivers
for the scanner for OSX, well we're getting a new scanner so, we can do that now. My
big question is, is it possible to get OSX to query a domain controller for
credentials when people log in, or do I have to go in and add everyone's log in info
to this one mac, this isn't a concern on our other macs because they are only used by
one person, how ever this is a machien everyone needs to be able to log into and get
to their stuff on the server with.

If you guys know anythign about this and can help me out at all that would be great, I
haev no idea how to get this to happen, but I'm pretty sure the unix stuff under the
hood of OSX is capable of this...

Thanks!
-Joe
