OSX does not support the floppy but DOES support internal zip and your external scsi cdrw.

The only other downside is it is slower on the beige than OS9. Frankly I got through my culture shock period with OSX and now I would never go back. There is just too much you get used to on OSX that I would not trade away.

I use a Beige G3 tower at work with OSX loaded and slowness is only occasionally an issue.

I am looking to upgrade my beige g3 to os x. Can someone tell me the
downsides. I have a 300Mhz with 256Mb RAM and 8 Gb HD.

I was told that OS X doesnt support the internal floppy drive. Is this true?
if
so what about the internal zip and my external scsi cdrw?

Any other downsides or things that will become useless or inoperable?

Simon
