So why did Apple issue OEM B+W G3 machines w/ 6gig disks? Is the official indication that OS X will never work w/ a disk smaller than 8gig, or is the issue strictly a partition one?
The problem is installing on partitons GREATER than 8 GB, not smaller.

OSX will install in as litle as 2GB, though it will complain mightily.
