Hi,

I've got a G4 Tower (733mhz) running Jaguar and Classic. One of my old
programs is Eudora Pro 3.0.1. It's been terrific, but now I'm having suddenly
having a problem I don't understand.

Several times folks have sent attachments that come as lines and lines of
code.

I've checked the settings and everything seems fine, as it has always been.
I've double-checked the attachments folder - there's nothing in it, and that
does seem odd. My designated folder is empty, and there's also an
Attachments folder in the Eudora folder (in the System 9 folder) but
that's empty too.

I get an error message while the attachment is trying to download that says:
 (not verbatim) "could not find an attachment to encode into" and/or
"attachment
is corrupted or has other errors."

The following appears after the person's message:

Content-Type: application/rtf;
 name="HRT for Anne.rtf"
Content-Disposition: inline;
 filename="HRT for Anne.rtf"

e1xydGYxXGFuc2lcYW5zaWNwZzEyNTJcZGVmZjBcZGVmbGFuZzEwMzN7XGZvbnR0Ymx7XGYw

ZW5lcmF0b3IgTXNmdGVkaXQgNS40MS4xNS4xNTAzO31cdmlld2tpbmQ0XHVjMVxwYXJkXGtl

etc. etc. for many many lines ...

and here's another one:

Content-Type: image/jpeg;
        name="comp3-mural.jpg"
Content-Disposition: attachment;
        filename="comp3-mural.jpg"

Hx8fHx8fHx8fHx8fHx8fHx8f/8AAEQgCUAJPAwERAAIRAQMRAf/EANQAAQABBQEBAQAAAAAAAAAA

Any ideas? Anyone had a similar problem?

I *think* I've received attachments on this machine, but I just recently
started using
Eudora on this machine, it was on the laptop while I was testing
OSX/Classic, so maybe
that's it: attachments don't work through Classic?
