Bruce,
I agree! The UNIX of OS X is a heck of a lot more secure than any PC OS (that's right, any PC OS).
All, don't worry about viruses. I've run a PC and a Mac forever and have *never* had any kind of virus on either one. I am simply careful about what I download and who it's from in email, etc. etc.
Won't help you with the latest [EMAIL PROTECTED] virus, Blaster (aka Lovesan, aka a bunch of other things)...make sure you're up-to-date on your Winodws updates, too...Blaster is not spreading through e-mail or downloaded files, it's directly infecting systems via TCP/IP using the RPC exploit (for which Microsoft issued a patch for nearly a month ago...can't *really* blame this on them 100%, after all, it's NOT like we didn't see this one coming)
We're finding all the folks who have been clicking 'Cancel' on their Windows update notices.
But my macs haven't had a virus since my system (and most of my floppy disks) got infected with WDEF. I cured that by upgrading to System 7 ;-)
