I found my problem...

It was the overclocked CPU. I overclocked my G3 400 to 450. The system runs at 36 degrees at 400 MHz and 40 degrees at 450 MHz. I guess the problem got worse with the additional hard drives I installed. Possibly more work for the CPU or higher temperatures.

I understand no one was loosing any sleep about my daily lockups. Just wanted to post my resolution.

OVERCLOCK == BAD (in my case)
