I got a Sonnet G3 card from Smalldog, iirc, and a Metabox G4 card (on closeout from OWC). Both were pretty painless installs.
I think I paid ~$180 for each of them (the G3 card was gotten some time before the G4 card...)
Nowadays there are much faster ones for less.
OWC's G4 upgrade for those Beiges is also quite nice, I paid, yup, $180 for that one too, come to think about it...
