Thank you Clyde for your comments. I already have two Beige G3's, a MT and DT, but also have three 7600's that seem to be great systems, especially with the all the ram slots where you can really get lots of speed (unlike the G3 beige's). All of them have 10/100 network PCI cards, and just wanted more speed on the network for the 7600's. Perhaps over clocking the 7600's would be the answer, but would need to know problems that others have had, and just what the limits are for over clocking. I found a chart showing how to over clock the G3's but not a chart for over clocking the 7600's on OWC. If someone knows where to find a 7600's chart (604e processors, one at 132, and two at 200Mh) I would be grateful. Perhaps with the price drops happening with the introduction of the G5's, Sonnet and other processor updates will drop as well, then wouldn't you say that that would be the way to go? I have several SCSI drives not being used, and will add them when I can speed up the processors so they will work faster on the network. Appreciate your response.
