Re: Upgrading 7600's To G3's/G4's

	This is a low end mac list and we are all supposed to be 
interested in upgrading old machines, but I would say that in terms 
of upgrading, the Beige G3 is about the bottom of the barrel now. 
The prices on the Beige G3 are falling (finally), and they will 
really plummet when the G5s arrive.  They are going for $89 to $150 
on eBay  ($89 for a Rev3 with AV card). So before upgrading a 7600 to 
a G3, ask about whether it would be cheaper to buy a Beige G3----even 
with their faults, they are actually better machines than the 7600s. 
there are very, very many things to upgrade  in the 7600 to bring it 
up to the lowest end G3.  (price SCSI drives lately?)
