Yes, increase your bus speed.  Overclocking is fun.

What 500MHz processor are you running?  Is it an oem
processor or an aftermarket upgrade?  I only ask because
I have an oem processor and am running my 300mhz (66x4)
at 375 (83x4)..  And it works like a charm.
