I should have added that I was indeed aware of the quoted website's (the
patch link) stipulation re: suggested mhz speed and that the DVD
daughtercard would not be a working feature w/out the 66mhz bus that's in
the B+W G3. I was willing to experiment.
But... Apple's earlier DVD players make reference to being used on 8500s for
Heaven's sake! Surely a G3 would be an improvement, not an oversight?
