I believe that 10.2.7 is meant only for the G5.  I think Apple mentioned
that this version makes Jag take advantage of the G5's 64bit power.  I don't
think any hack would do any good on non-G5 systems.  I've also seen an
update just for the G5 from Adobe (Photoshop) taking advantage of that 64bit
power.  Mmmmm....G5...ackghhhhhhh (<--sound of tongue hanging with some
drool).
