I put a Harmoni G3 500 MHZ Sonnet card in my wife's Rev A iMac. Taking apart an iMac can be a little intimidating for folks who don't have a hardware background. The card works great and it gives the machine a FireWire port. She's been using the iPod I bought for her with it ever since.

I just read an article that seemed to imply that I could save my friendly
but a bit slow iMacDV G3 by installing a G4 processor card. Not being a
techie, it sounded almost too good to be true. Does this really work? What
are the problems, if any?

Thanks!
