As far as I'm aware there are no processor upgrades available for your DV slot loading iMac, only for the older tray loaders. They had a removable processor card, the DV doesn't.
The best you can do with your iMac DV is to max out the RAM and fit a larger faster 7200 rpm hard disk, I did this to my DV 400.

The good folks at <http://www.technowarehousellc.com/g4upforslloi.html> have this spiffy new G4/500 MHz upgrade available for slot loading iMacs up till the Summer 2001 revision for $299 which seems like a good deal to me.
You simply remove your logic board and send it in to them in the supplied box and they replace your G3 with a smoking new G4 and send it back to you!
I have my fingers crossed that they will be able to do this mod on the later iMacs soon ( I have a Fall 2001 Blueberry iMac) and maybe even with a faster G4!
