You can find anecdotal evidence of problems with every upgrade manufacturer, if you care to look for it. CPU upgrades especially are problematical. I know people who swear by PowerLogix, and those who swear at them. Ditto for Sonnet, Newer, etc. My advice--and what I do--is to treat all CPU upgrades as suspect unless/until you hear reports of people who've actually been successful in upgrading with them.
